Two pulleys reduce the apparent weight of the shingles in half

Rope goes from 1) ladder cap top, 2) down through SHOL pulley
3) back up to the ladder cap pulley, then 4) down to the ground

4) rope can be tied to a ladder rung
to stop the SHOL at the loading position
